The MOT test is an annual test of a vehicle’s safety, roadworthiness and exhaust emissions. A valid MOT certificate is a legal requirement in the UK for most vehicles over three years old.

Your MOT test must be done annually and can be carried out up to a month before the expiry date (the expiry date will never change). If your car passes its MOT you will receive an MOT certificate valid for 12 months, after which your vehicle must be tested again. Which Class of MOT Test Do I Need?

Class 4 MOT– For standard cars (up to 8 passenger seats), small vans, motor caravans, taxis, ambulances, and most vehicles weighing up to 3,000 kg design gross weight.

Class 5 MOT – For larger passenger vehicles such as minibuses and buses with more than 8 passenger seats (not including the driver), up to 5,000 kg design gross weight.

Class 7 MOT – For commercial vehicles like goods vans with a gross weight between 3,000 kg and 3,500 kg.

This is the most professional garage I have ever been too, they work quickly and professionally, they are also honest with the work that needs doing, the staff are friendly and good old customer service is in play here. Damien and the team did a great job on my Cupra Formentor — professional mechanics who know their stuff. I had four new Bridgestone tyres fitted (for less than £600 total) and went for the Hunter 3D alignment service, which covered both front and rear toe for £80. Solid value and smooth service. Would definitely recommend. 👍🏽
